Report by Suhail Shahid
First game of the season played on a cold day and with great
spirit. Seven out of the eight players were fasting and that was
evident in the fielding.
IDLCC won the toss and elected to
bowl. Typical good start by Shahmeer and Bilal. The run rate was
above 10 all the way to the 9th over. Junaid came and hit 6 ofd the
1st bowl.
Three great sixes one each by Shahmeer, Bilal and
Junaid. Junaid was unlucky to get caught on boundry. IDLCC fielding
was a good standard and saved 15 runs from this effort. OF1 score of
141 was 20 short of where we were half way through but still
fightable knowing our bowling.
IDLCC took the game deeper by
not taking risks, Our fielding gave 12 extra runs and was below our
best. It was a good competitive game with lot of learnings.
