A record innings, keen catching and solid
fielding laid the foundation of the Old Fallopians' first victory of
the season.
Opening batsman Chris Taylor, reinforced by his
custom knee support, carried his bat to an unbeaten 74, notching up
over half the Old Fallopian's 131 total.
Four Caledonian scalps went to catches, by keeper
Jon Idle, Tim Castle, Gary Boyd and newcomer Josh Fagan off his own
bowling.
The Caledonians only managed five boundaries -
while Taylor punctured their fielding with six sixes and eight fours
(can that be right...? it's what it says down below... I'll have to
check).
