|June 7, 2005||League vs Vallance Bow||Lost by 2 wickets|
Grim over kills early hopes
We looked set to win this game after Jonathan Stebbins and Richard Griffiths grafted a 75 run opening stand. Stebbins forced the pace by sprinting between the wickets on any chance, the pair running four on one occasion, before a chance too far saw Griffiths run out.
But after that the innings slipped into decline, before finally collapsing in a heap under nine balls from the unexpectedly swift and accurate Sadi, who took three wickets in one over, and took just three tries in his second over to finish our innings.
We played a tight game during the Vallance Bow innings, but it just wasn't quite enough to contain their batting, the league newcomers passing their target of 106 with balls to spare in the last over.
Old Fallopians 105 all out (15.3 overs)
