Twilight victory

| Cut away: Thornhill steals a couple more
runs |
We thought it was all over. Massive slogging from
008's Nakarha propelled their score to 151 and another dismal defeat
was on the cards.
But under cover of darkness our own big-hitter
Philip Barrass and his trusty side-kick Jim Thornhill stole the game
from under the opposition's noses.
As the light faded our dynamic duo clubbed 008's
bowling into submission, Barrass charging to a season's team high of
84 and Thornhill a career best of 32.
A brief flash of the bat from Frisby, out for a
quick six and then...
With night-vision goggles attached, Andrew Wardle
and Paul Marinko strode out at the close with little to do but keep
their wickets and casually knock off the remainder.
