Century stand sets up victoryJim Thornhill writes: A opening century stand from Richard Telfer (74) and Matt Tenney (109) set the scene on a convincing OF's victory on Sunday, in a bracing afternoon's cricket in south London. Tenney went on the complete a perfectly measured century, with Jim Thornhill weighing in with a quickfire 69 in an emotional farewell performance in the weekend line-up. The bowlers all played their part and, while OW's kept the scoring rate ticking along, we took vital wickets just as they were looking to accelerate and our challenging total never looked under serious threat. Telfer was the pick bagging 4 wickets to mop up the tail, with Greg Clifford, Will Robertson and Ed Paleit also in the wickets. Mark Dummett and Russell Balkind bowled well and were unlucky not to get a wicket or two.
