Joy redoubledSolid batting by Fawad Omer and Barrass father and son built us a credible total which Victoria Lounge were unable to reach in their allotted overs. Opener Jim Thornhill was the only recognised batsman to falter, playing round a straight delivery to depart for a duck. The Loungers seemed determined to get themselves out, with four of their five wickets falling to run outs. Our second victory of the season over the one team we beat last year and thus a 100 percent improvement.
