John Shaw, bowling, assisted a runout by putting his boot in the way as the batsman drove the ball back up the pitch, the ball rebounding onto the stumps and dismissing the facing batsman who was out of his ground.

Aman Pattar scored 33 on his debut. Matt Wales returned for his first game for a couple of years after his return from Canada.

Rafe Smallman hit five boundaries on his way to an undefeated 26.

Skipper Jonathan Stebbins ran himself out, calling for a run even though it wasn't his call. Pattar, as the striker's end, wisely stood his ground and Stebbins never had time to get back to safety.
