After much promise, this transpired into a one-sided game, with OFCC dominant throughout. Black Rose were weakened by the absence of Waqar, injured after an incident in the West Essex League!

The outstanding performance was the hostile fast bowling of Waseem Furqan. Waseem was supported by some excellent swing bowling from Umair Shahzad, who took 2-13 in seven overs. Black Rose struggled to 141 from 35 overs.

OFCC were always comfortable chasing a modest total. A solid team batting performance saw openers Ammer Malji and Bharat hit form and when Waseem was bowled for a duck, Mohit took over. Whether bowling leg spin, fielding in the covers or batting, this man exudes class and style. He has so much time to play the ball and demonstrated a full range of front and back foot shots.

Umair Shezad topped off some match winning bowling with an equally brilliant batting display.

An easy win against a strong side. Well played Fallopians!
